There are several different venues that offer agility. Each one has it's good points and not so good points. A lot depends one the type of handler you are and the type of agility dog you manage. Some venues have faster times and tighter turns. Others have longer contact areas and one doesn't use the teeter. I believe all are fun and can be ran in a positive manner. The dogs and I have ran United Kennel Club Agility (UKC), and are running currently
American Kennel Club (AKC), Dogs on Course in North America (DOCNA), North American Agility Council (NADAC), and just recently, United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA). We have fun with all of them and encourage you to try your hand at any and all to get your feel for the agility venue that is right for you and your dog.

(I've had much help from many trainers to get to the point of entering trials; thanks to:
Jean Matushek, Sheryl McCormick , Michelle Fromm, Sherry Porter, Denise Evans, Morene Brown, and Tammy & Bill E.)
